Write
the Vision and make
it plan ~ Hab2:2
We don’t always understand a vision until we pursue it. God has given Gates of Zion Worship Center a vision and it’s becoming more and more clearer, the more we pursue it. At the end of 2019, God has opened a door for Gates of Zion in 2020 to walk through. I believe, that Gates of Zion will be a conduit that God will be using in this season. God is saying, “…. it is time to move. We have dwelt long enough here. Behold I set the land before you, go in and possess the Land.” I have no doubt that we have a mandate for this kingdom work, and we all are called together to increase the boundaries of the Kingdom of God. The way we are able to do so, is to hand out grace to everyone we come into fellowship with. John 1:14, reminds us that “the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth”. The latter portion of that verse is the breath of Gates of Zion’s vision. We believe no matter where one has gone, no matter what one has done and no matter how low one has been, Christ has enough grace to redeem us all. We believe in his redeeming power, and we offer that same grace to all that we come into fellowship with.
In addition, we believe in creating opportunities to share His grace. Recently, Gates of Zion has purchased the old Thomas School building in the Midway Community. It is part of our vision, as the Lord makes it clear, to revitalize our community by first renovating this property as our new sanctuary. In addition to being our new sanctuary, we believe God will open up opportunities, that we may be able to minister to our community by bringing in resources to nurture relationships. Gates of Zion Worship Center has been commissioned to mission this rural community in which it resides. In doing so, the church desire is to support the community by bringing in resources and education to help the low income understand their financial options. We are empowering our youth by helping to prep and navigate their options, as they advance the public education systems. We have come to understand that our society is no longer elderly friendly. So likewise, it’s our mission to be elderly friendly and encourage health and active lives no matter the age, by partnering with Healthcare agencies that can support our elderly. Above all, it is the purpose of Gates of Zion to hand out grace to all they come into fellowship with.
It should be a constant reminder to us all, that we are to give God our best and to have great expectations of his awesome abilities in us and through us. We must continue to pray for refreshed and renewed spirits, and thank God for changes manifested in the lives of His people. Therefore, God requires our commitment….. there are steps that only you can take and people only you can reach, therefore, wherever you may reside we encourage you too to become active in your community and in your church as a instrument unto God.
Enough GRACE for eyverone
(Joh 1:12 – 14) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of GRACE and truth.
SALVATION for today’s journey
(Luk 19:9 -10) And Jesus said unto him, This day is SALVATION come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
KINGDOM of God
(Heb 12:28 – 29) Wherefore we receiving a KINGDOM which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.
